I started my career in tech 7 years ago as an IT Desk technician apprentice in a small shopping centre.  Whilst there I started to complete a Level 3 BTEC work-based course.  Later, moved to a hosting company and it is there that I completed the course with all high passing marks.  I began as a 1st line technical engineer before progressing to a senior engineer role, and lastly a technical team leader role.  I enjoyed my time here as there was s much exposure to different systems and technologies, I was able to broaden and hone my skills.  My next position was with a cloud hosting company, which required the same calibre of skills.

Currently I am working as a NOC engineer where I help manage and resolve incidents that happen on the production environment.  Here I am working with technologies I have not had exposure to previously.  This includes several CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins. GitHub and custom pipelines.  This position also allows me to expand my knowledge on Kubernetes and Python.
